Terry was a founding member and original guitarist for the band Alien Ant Farm. That band got its start in 1996, and he stayed in it until 2004 when he left due to "irreconcilable differences". He was replaced in Alien Ant Farm by Joe Hill, and went at that time to play Guitar for Powerman 5000. He eventually left Powerman 5000 to go to Sacramento, California to play in the band "The Dead Celebrities" with a former songwriting partner.
